Donald J. Storino II is a Principal and Co-Founder of Fidelity Consulting Group, L.L.C., a governmental affairs consulting firm that works with clients to develop and implement strategies in support of their business objectives.


Mr. Storino has been active in local and state government for over 12 years. Before co-founding Fidelity Consulting Group, he served as the Executive Director of both the West Central Municipal Conference and the West Cook County Solid Waste Agency. These two organizations cover 200 square miles, have a population of over 565,000 residents and include 36 municipalities, several townships in Western Cook County, Brookfield Zoo and Triton College. Mr. Storino represented all 36 municipalities, mayors and managers in a myriad of local government issues, including legislative advocacy, transportation and land use planning, zoning, affordable housing, solid waste management, group purchasing, regional coalition building and economic development. Mr. Storino formulated, supervised and was responsible for achieving the legislative agenda of the each organization. Mr. Storino has appeared multiple times before legislative and administrative committees to testify on behalf of his clients' issues. He managed a combined budget of almost $5 million, and interfaced daily with mayors, village managers, professional staff, business leaders, state and county elected officials and outside consultants to achieve the goals of the organizations.


Prior to joining the West Central Municipal Conference, Mr. Storino was an associate at Storino, Ramello & Durkin. He engaged in a diverse litigation practice, focusing on land use and zoning and municipal law. Mr. Storino also monitored and drafted legislation on behalf of his municipal and business clients. In 2001, he was appointed Special Counsel to the Illinois Racing Board.


Early in his legal career, Mr. Storino served as legal counsel to the Illinois Department of Public Health, where he represented the Department in administrative hearings regarding nursing homes and all issues dealing with the health care industry. He was also responsible for drafting, reviewing and monitoring legislation concerning the Illinois Department of Public Health.


Mr. Storino received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1995 and received his law degree from DePaul College of Law in 1998.


In addition to his professional experience, Mr. Storino has also held and continues to hold positions influential in law and politics. He is also the past president of the Justinian Society of lawyers.
